Commissioned by Glynn County, a good review of proposals to improve traffic conditions on Frederica Road by adding additional traffic circles, lane extensions, eyebrows, etc. Shows recommended changeUnfortunately, it does not include the SIR/ Frederica Road raffic circle, or proposed improvements to the Market Street/ SIR Intersection. You might ask yourself "why not?"
St Simons Island Sector Study. A part of the BATS for Glynn County. Among other things, it provides draft locations and cost analyses for a second causeway (see the full BATS MPO below in the "Other Glynn County" section)
One of the original studies commissioned by Glynn County. Detailed analysis of implications for infrastructure based on island-wide development scenarios.
The Pond Study has useful information, but is not a full study with full sampling data that will be required for decision making:
